Smaller Life Forms
Smaller life forms, consisting of mainly invertebrates are any animal that do not have a backbone or 'vertebral column' like those of fish, sharks or mammals. More than 90% of all species on earth are invertebrates, they can be found almost anywhere in the world from the deepest of oceans to the highest of mountains. Most invertebrates as mentioned do not have a backbone but instead have some sort of exoskeleton that covers their entire body. They are usually small in size and do not posses lungs, but breathe through their skin. The marine enviroment of India holds a wide range of appealing invertebrates that can be found in all marine habitats.
